Cartsave app is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit a store that has Cartsave app installed, or make a purchase from that store. By installing and using our app, you acknowledge and agree to the collection and utilization of your personal information in compliance with this policy.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the online store with Cartsave app installed, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

• We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

• Email addresses: We collect email addresses of users who save their cart using our app's Cart Save Prompt or Automatic Email Capture feature.
• Email marketing data: We collect data on users who click on email marketing sent through our app to automatically save their email to any new carts they create.
• ESP integration information: We collect information related to the Email Service Provider integration, including API keys and IDs.
• Dashboard and settings information: We collect information related to the settings and configuration options chosen by users.
• Website interaction data: We collect data on website interactions such as exit intent pop-ups and embedded save cart selector IDs.

GDPR Regulations

At our company, we take data privacy seriously and are committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) regulations. We recognize that customers have the right to access and control their personal data, which is why we offer two options for data requests.

Customers can make a "customers/data_request" to view the stored data we have about them, or a "customers/redact" request to have their personal data deleted from our records.

Additionally, if a customer wishes to have their entire shopping history and account information removed from our website, they can submit a "shop/redact" request for the deletion of shop data. We will process these requests as soon as possible and provide customers with a confirmation once their data has been either shared or deleted.

We also take appropriate measures to ensure the security and protection of our customers' personal data and regularly review and update our privacy policy to stay in compliance with GDPR regulations.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
